Recently, I visited the socialist paradise that is Cuba. Instead of squirrels they have these little scurrying lizards. There’s a guy in Havana that serves coconut ice cream in a coconut. Good times.
You remember Fan V Fan: it’s the television review show that I created with Dorkshelf. We’ve been covering The Flash for two seasons and we begin covering GoT last year. This season, I step out from behind the camera and join co-host Joel Minty in many loud and enthusiastic conversations about crushing skulls.
Here’s episode three because in this one we finally, mostly got the lighting right.
Noah Taylor and I filmed last month’s Walrus Talks. This session, themed ‘Healthy Cities’, took place in Hamilton on a snowy evening. Seven speakers pitched their ideas for what makes good cities and what could make them better.

Two more of my sketches were broadcast by the Irrelevant Show in February. There’s going to a large batch of my scenes airing in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
Here’s the first iteration of ‘Future Reviews’ that aired back in January:
Raconteurs asked me to tell this story at their BIG IDEAS show. It’s my freckle tattoo story which you can read, if you prefer, right here.
Watching it now, wow, this needs editing. But I hope you enjoy the tale none the less.
“That Time I…” posts are true stories that am I retiring from my social repertoire. To honour them, I am committing them to text for the first time. Read stories about sound torture, abortion, my awesome tattoo, and the infamous Tragic Hand Button.
I awoke at one o’clock in the morning with a sharp and intense pain in my abdomen. Guessing that I had food poisoning, I sat on the toilet for a while expecting something to come out of either end. Nothing did. But I had dealt with this kind of thing before and, in my experience, it operates on its own schedule. I went back to bed to wait for instructions from my body.
The Irrelevant Show is a sketch comedy show that airs on CBC Radio One’s national airwaves. The show returns for a fifth season, performing and recording in front of live audiences across Canada.
I am a contributing writer on the 2016 season. New episodes began airing in January and there is already a sketch of mine that you can listen to, A Future Review of Jurassic Park.
Sweet Christmas, everyone! Er, I mean Merry Christmas!
I helped put together this video for the people at Sketch From Superheroes. Enjoy the invincible Luke Cage as he uses his famous catch phrase to sell holiday candy.
Come see me tell a story at this month’s Raconteurs, Toronto’s premier story-telling show. The theme this month is ‘Big Ideas’ and I’ll be recounting my famous freckle tattoo story. The cover is only 10$ which is a lot less than what I normally charge for my company.
